Hong Kong, feels like home

overcast 65 °F

If we did not travel for so long, we would have thought we just took the 6 train to Canal Street.  We feel very comfortable here.  The streets are easy to navigate and the subways are clean. There are signs in English everywhere, except for some small restaurants.  We stopped into a place for a snack and it was hopeless.  There was nothing written in English and the servers just looked at us confusingly.

We did the Peak Tram to get the panoramic view of the harbor.  Unfortunately it is very overcast and cloudy.  While it was amazing to see, there are not too many good pictures.

In case you feel homesick while up there, there was a "Bubba Gump Shrimp" restaurant - and it was packed.

The Man Mo Temple was a great experience (unless you hate incense) and makes you feel like a local.

The Star Ferry ride to Kowloon was a nice way to get across the harbor and provided a nice perspective of Hong Kong.  Very reminiscent of the ferry ride to Jersey.

Finally, we saw two things that were worth sharing.  First, while waiting for the Man Mo Temple, someone passed us by wearing a Troy Polamalu jersey.  Did not expect to see that.  And second, we have nothing really to comment so we thought we would share the picture.  What am I supposed to put in the Recyclable Collection Bin?
