Welcome aboard flight 173 with service toTokyo

We are really doing this!

sunny 37 °F

Passports - check!

Cambodian & Vietnamese visas - check!

Hong Kong dollars & Thai bahts - check!

2 stuffed backpacks - check!

4 weeks backpacking across Southeast Asia - oh yeah!

Today we leave on our 4-week Southeast Asia adventure!!! We’ve decided to create a blog called 'Tuk Everything' to document our explorations as we visit six amazing cities. Some of you might be asking what a tuk is. A tuk tuk is a three-wheeled motorcycle widely used in Southeast Asia but naming our blog 'Tuk Tuk Everything' sounded a bit silly. Don’t worry though; we’re going to try to keep our entries short and simple but filled with photos.

First stop is Hong Kong via Tokyo. Gina finally gets to live out her dream of flying aboard a 747, while Billy checks Thailand off his bucket list. Now if only Delta would upgrade us to Business class on the upper deck....

See you later New York…Hong Kong, here we come!

P.S. One of Billy's sisters pointed out that our trips on our travel map made a fish! That was not intentional at all but love that it's a fish!
