Charades Anyone?

overcast 78 °F

Now in Hanoi, we needed to have dinner. After wondering the streets for over 30 minutes, we elected to use the same logic from our breakfast at the Ben Thanh market, we looked for a place that was full of people. We saw the following place and thought why not.

Making the commitment to eat here, we picked an open table and took a seat. We trust you like the options.

Now is where we had our fun. We ordered our entire meal without saying a word. We started by pointing to a bowl being enjoyed by someone next to us. After that, we pointed towards meat that was being enjoyed on other plates as well as meat being prepared.

Crossing our fingers, we were hoping for something good. Thankfully, we only had to wait a few minutes before we were presented with our orders and a cold beer.

I think we enjoyed this more than we should have because it was not the standard noodle dishes we have been eating for the last few days. We are looking forward to trying new things in this city.
